Working With a Class Act

Why do I love Hawaii Life? I can give you lots of reasons — our great brand, our technologies and systems, our global reach, and especially our local vibe. But, those aren’t the real reasons I’m here. For me, it’s all about the people. I love working with innovators and creators, smart people and good people.

If you work, you know the importance of your work environment. Having a healthy and productive workplace with cooperative and supportive co-workers is essential to your emotional and mental health. Your productivity increases when you are surrounded by those who are committed to your own growth and success. Great mentors, leaders, and people who inspire you make you better. Stronger. Smarter.

Let me introduce you to Jeanie Schmaltz. Jeanie, is one of those people who, well, makes me better. She’s humble and she’s smart. Very smart. She is also very knowledgeable about the real estate market, especially the luxury market. In fact, she was just recognized as a top luxury real estate leader. No surprise there. Jeanie is a top 100 Realtor whose respectful and professional approach has brought her success. More importantly, it has brought the many clients she serves success. And, those of us who have the pleasure of working alongside of her reap the benefits of her collaborative spirit and valuable input and knowledge.

When you meet Jeanie, the first thing you’ll notice is that she radiates a quiet elegance. She’s very unassuming and she is kind. Her success is the combination of hard work, good ethics, and a commitment to excellence. Though she is serious about her work, she’s also fun-loving and she’s got a warmth about her that ingratiates her to everyone she meets.

As much as Jeanie loves her clients, co-workers, and friends, Emma (her Maltese/Lhasa Apso) has the top spot in her heart. And, if you meet Jeanie, you’ll meet Emma, too. They’re constant companions and it’s hard to say which one of them is the sweetest. Or, the smartest, for that matter 🙂

People who are unassuming and humble don’t brag about themselves, which is why I chose to do the bragging on Jeanie’s behalf. She won’t like the attention, but she is worthy of it. For more about Jeanie, check out the link below or stop by our Kaimuki/Diamond Head office and say “hello.” She’ll greet you with a warm smile. And, so will Emma!
