What's Been Happening Lately in West Maui?

Guess who showed up without a reservation at Kahana Village Maui? Below is a photo of the guest. As usual Vicky and her team, Harmony and Curtis, did a great job at making the guest feel right at home. Some more exciting news, Kahana Village is working on the feasibility of installing air conditioning. With hopes of working with the first group of owners, hopefully the first rounds of installation can be started, if not completed before the heat of summer returns.

Some have been inquiring about the hospital for West Maui so I have included a link for its facts and updates: West Maui Hospital Update (Maui News). Things on the island are going well, the weather has been good for the winter and moving into spring.

Recently, there was a surf competition on Oahu, “The Eddie” (The Quiksilver in Memory of Eddie Aikau Big Wave Invitational) that was held for the first time in many years since conditions must be just right, with waves at a steady height at 40 plus feet or more. Follow the link for some highlights of the contest Eddie Surf 2016.
