Just Sold – 1 Bedroom Ocean View Condo at The Whaler

Jim and Laura have been coming to Maui for years and knew what they wanted. After making the decision to purchase, they were very thorough with their research in finding their perfect condo. Not only did they find a great complex in a prime location at the Whaler, but also found a unit that felt like home.

They ultimately decided on the Whaler complex Unit 907, a 1 bedroom/2 bathroom unit, which has approx. 905 sq.ft. with a large lanai providing over 200 sq.ft. of covered lanai space. The lanai has two doors to allow you access, one from the living room and the other from the bedroom.

This unit is in a premium location within the complex, which is just one row back from the direct oceanfront row, but at a fraction of the price, and it overlooks the courtyard with tremendous ocean and West Maui mountain views. In the past, the sales had been slow, I think due to the extensive ongoing work that tended to turn many buyers away – but now it is such a refreshing new complex that is bringing back the buyers.

Thank you Heidi for working with us for such a long time as we were discovering what we wanting. We just spent our first summer at The Whaler and had the best time. I’m so glad we waited for the right property. It’s exactly what we were looking for. Our VRBO site is doing well and we have rented all but three weeks of available (unused) time. Thank you for your advise with that as well. We are now at our break even spot, including AOAO fees covered. In the spring we will be doing a complete renovation. I can’t wait for that!
