The numbers are in and here are your summary CliffsNotes to what happened in West Maui real estate sales for the month of January. A quick highlight of some important points followed by easy to read, but detailed reports of all home, condo, and land sales activity on this side, the best side of the island.

West Maui January 2016 Real Estate Headlines

$3.975M – Was the highest sale of the month – 19 Kamaka Circle on Baby Beach in Lahaina, a 3 bed/2 bath 1,404 sq./ft. home.

$67,500 – Was the lowest sale – a 1 bed/1 bath 564 sq./ft. leasehold unit at Napili Ridge.

47 – Total properties sold.

7 – Total homes sold. Lahaina led with 3, Kaanapali and the Napili/Kahana/Honokowai area had 2.

$1,500,036 – Average home sale price.

$749K – Average sale price of the 4 least expensive homes sold.

0 – The number of homes sold in Kapalua.

1 – The number of homes sold in Kapalua in the past 6 months.

$584,634 – Average price of the 37 total condos sold in West Maui.

$1,085,500 – Average price of the 7 condos sold in Kaanapali (thanks to Honua Kai).

$396K – Average price of the 15 condos sold in Napili/Kahana/Honokowai.

48.4 – Average number of home, condo, and land units sold per month in West Maui over the past 12 months.

42 – Average number of home, condo, and land units sold per month in West Maui over the past 3 months (-13% from 2015 per month average).

I'm involved along with other fellow Hawaii Life comrades volunteering regularly at the Ka Hale A Ke Ola Shelter in West Maui and I'm on the Board of the Hawaii Life Charitable Fund. Through the outlet of the WM Pet Supply, I was heavily involved with the Maui Humane Society & ASCPA getting animals adopted & spayed/neutered.
