Update on Puakea Bay Ranch Big Island Hawaii

Things are really taking off at Puakea Bay Ranch on the Big Island of Hawaii. After a period of slow sales, suddenly everything is moving. A lot has happened since my blog from April 11, 2017.

What’s Happening?

This year has seen the sale of 2 lots and 3 estate homes. There are also 3 homes currently in escrow. Home sales ranged from $1.225M to $4.25M, the latter being the waterfront home sold by auction. Almost 1300 sq. ft. of oceanfront grandeur listed at $9.9M was sold through Concierge Auctions in September.

There are 9 bedrooms, 10 baths, a pool and tennis court to enjoy here. Photo from MLS #292652.

Still expected to close are 3 homes listed for $1.8 to $2.8M.

Ten acres of waterfront land sold for $850,000 last month. Earlier in the year, a 10 acre parcel with magnificent ocean and Maui views went for $357,500.

What’s Left?

Three lots and only one home are still available. This home sits on 20 acres and is a horse lover’s dream.

The 3 lots are located in the upper part of the ranch and have >180 degree ocean, sunset and Maui views. They are at 500 ft elevation and about a mile from the water. Their list prices range from $399,00 to $449,000.

Puakea Bay Ranch remains a quiet gated community with 40 ten acre parcels of gently rolling landscape. With the phenomenal views of Maui, the Pacific and year-round sunsets, it really is hard to beat.  Located in North Kohala in charming Hawi, you feel like you are in the “real Hawaii.”
