Tropical Hidden Secrets Along the Big Island's Ka'u Coast

Pohue Bay, just minutes away from Hawaiian Ocean View Estates and Ranchos along the Ka’u Coast

I had the pleasure to spend the day at one of the best kept secrets along the Ka’u Coast, Pohue Bay! This outstanding beach is a little pocket of white sand bordering a small sand-bottomed inlet. During calm seas, this picturesque beach is one of the safest swimming areas in the district of Ka’u and offers excellent snorkeling along the otherwise rocky shoreline! In order to get to this heavenly beach you need a four-wheel drive vehicle and requires permission from the landowner to cross, but it’s worth it!!

All within 1 hour of being there, I saw whales breaching, dolphins jumping, and turtles peeking their little heads up out of the water for a breath! Simply magical! Here in Hawaii you’ll hear us local’s say, “Lucky we live Hawaii,” and today that statement was surely proven!

This private fishing pond is nestled into a cove on Kau’s Coast at beautiful Pohue Bay

Just up the hillside from this ‘Slice of Paradise’ is Hawaiian Ocean View Ranchos and Hawaiian Ocean View Estates. Both subdivisions share the luxury of amazing coastline-ocean views and affordable homes for sale!!

This home (MLS# 242345) was just listed at an astonishing low price of only $179,900!! There are also 1 acres parcels, like this gorgeous cleared lot with driveway and some landscaping (MLS# 241989). Can you imagine the possibilities?? They’re endless!!

Ka’u is where I made my dream a reality, and with these prices, so can you!!

Jene – WOW! Gorgeous! Can we camp down there without a permit? Let’s set up an off-road Hawaii Life camping weekend! (Oh wait, who would we leave behind to cover for us with our clients while we’re all camping at the beach??)
