The Grand Opening of our New Wailea Office

Hawaii Life Real Estate Services, LLC celebrated the grand opening and blessing of our new office in the Wailea Town Center in Maui’s premiere resort community of Wailea this past Friday. Around fifty people were in attendance, some real estate brokers and agents from other firms, some from title and escrow companies, and some of our close friends and family. (Click on the picture below to enjoy a slide show of the evening…)

It was a cathartic experience for us. We spent the better part of a year trying to find a space to lease in Wailea. We found that some landlords had extraordinary interpretations of the value of their commercial spaces, while some were facing foreclosure and not able to enter in to a new lease. So, after about the 10th or so Letter of Intent, we heard about this commercial property in the Wailea Town Center which had just recently been foreclosed on and was available as an REO. Two months later, we were the proud owners of commercial real estate in Wailea, Maui.

We now have more space than we may need… but if history is any indicator with this company, we’ll be bursting at the seams pretty soon. Fortunately, since we have two separate bays, we’ll be able to offer brokers and agents private offices, while maintaining the same modern, spacious look and feel of Hawaii Life’s offices around Hawaii.

Our entire Leadership Team was present for the opening, on their own accord, which was really touching. Maui’s Aunty Pua provided a powerful opening blessing, including every broker and agent who will work out of Wailea. We’re grateful to everyone who joined us to kick off our new office, and to those friends and family who couldn’t make it. It won’t be the last party we have on Maui.
