An Exciting Poipu Subdivision Developed With "Green" in Mind

If you have a desire to build your “green home” in a beautiful new community in sunny Poipu, Kauai, now is your opportunity!

Introducing you to a beautiful subdivision in Poipu where “green” is the theme of the development. This is a unique subdivision of 106 over-sized lots providing 70% open space once everything is fully developed. It’s called Poipu Beach Estates.

Lots will be provided with filtered landscape water from a local mountain range at a fraction of the cost of public water and irrigation will be provided to each lot. There will be a recycling and green waste composting area, and water retention systems are incorporated to protect streams and the ocean.

The location couldn’t be better. It is one block from the beach on the south boundary at Poipu Road and borders Kiahuna Golf Course on the north. The east side is boarded by Archeological Nature Preserve and the west side by Kiahuna Foundation Open Area.

You can bike, hike, swim, snorkel, surf, fish, play golf, and tennis just outside your door. This subdivision has underground utilities and digital phone/cable and internet connections.

The developers are strongly encouraging residents to incorporate solar and photovoltaic systems in the construction of their homes, and you have low, low association dues of only $85/month.

Poipu offers a different lifestyle that other parts of Kauai. While the northshore is lush and beautiful because it averages 60″ of rain fall per year, Poipu is considered the “dry” side and averages 10″ a year. So it’s accurate to say, welcome to the Sunny Days of the southshore. But of course Mother Nature has a mind of her own and we just don’t know when she is going to give us that 10″! Rain or shine, it’s always a perfect day on Kauai.
