New Condo Development: Azure Ala Moana

The newest condominium development in Ala Moana is Azure Ala Moana, located at the corner of Keeaumoku and Makaloa. Sales opened this past Saturday, September 15th and condos are selling out fast. After visiting the sales gallery today, it is clear this is a very exciting new building. Here are a few of my favorite features:

Location

With Sam’s Club and Walmart right next door and Ala Moana shopping two blocks away, Azure Ala Moana is very centrally located. Additionally, the building has beautiful ocean, city, and mountain views. The sales gallery overlooks the future building site and even has beautiful pictures from every side of the building. This way, you can see what your view would look like depending on the unit that you select.

Floor Plans

The building is comprised of mostly 1 and 2 bedroom residences, with ten additional 3 bedrooms and one studio. The 1 bedrooms range from 579-683 square feet, and the two bedrooms range from 833-1,190 square feet. I love the size of the units and especially appreciate the variety in floor plans which allows for two different styles of units. There are “standard” units and “premier” units. The “standard” units are no less beautiful than the premier. The main differences are the flooring and appliances. The flooring in the standard units have high-end carpet and tile and the premier has oak engineered hardwood flooring. As for appliances, the premier units have Sub-Zero/Wolf with Bosch and the standard units are exclusively stainless-steel Bosch appliances. Additionally, some of the premier units have a free-standing bathtub in the master bathroom. Depending on what your budget is and what type of floor plan you prefer, there are a lot of options. For units that are still available (as of this afternoon 9/17), prices start at under $700,000 and go up to above $2,000,000.

The model above is not to scale, and real units will have floor to ceiling windows.

The model above is not to scale. Every kitchen has solid quartz countertops and backsplash.

Amenities

As do most of the new buildings in downtown, Azure has a fitness center with an outdoor workout space, movie room, pool and spa, barbecue pavilions, a puppy park (yes, this building is pet-friendly), club lounge with a kitchen, four guest suites, storage lockers and more. Because this building was designed by the same architects as the Collection and Waihonua, I know that the barbecue pavilions will probably be my favorite feature, besides the 24-hour security personnel.

It is exciting to see these units selling so quickly. I know with the location, floor plans and amenities this building will be beautiful. Give me a call if you are interested!

Obviously the 3bd condos are attractive given their makai positioning. The top floors are going for $2.1mm…how much cheaper will the 3bd get as they go lower in floors?

Also, will this project have the separate townhome units similar to The Collection property from the same developers?

TIA

Hi Gus,

Thank you for commenting! This building only has ten total three bedroom units.

Additionally, there will not be any townhome units with this building.

All the best, Anna >

Hi Gary,

The units under $700,000 are the one bedrooms. I cannot guarantee they are still for sale.

Thank you for reading!
