Neil Sedaka Performs Live at Maui Arts and Cultural Center

The wonderful entertainment resources available to us here on Maui amazes me. It seems there is always something going on. Last month, our friends emailed us to say they were coming over to Maui to visit and wanted to see Neil Sedaka, who was going to be playing at the MACC during their visit.

For those of you not familiar with the MACC, they have several theaters, both indoors and outdoors. They hold special events, galleries, and performances throughout the year. You can see performances in dance, theater, and music as well as art exhibits and cultural events.

So, a few days after our friends showed up, we all went to the show. What an incredible concert that Neil Sedaka put on for us in Maui! It was fantastic. Sometimes getting caught up in the grind of daily life, it is so easy to forget about such great artists right here in our own backyard.

Neil has been writing, performing, and producing music for fifty years and has gifted the world with over twenty Top 40 hits. He’s inspired countless other musicians along the way and counts international stars like Elton John among his many fans. Neil has also written hits for performers like Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Connie Francis, Tom Jones, The Monkees, LaVern Baker, The Carpenters, Clay Aiken, and The Captain and Tennille.

I know you may have missed Neil this trip around, but if you are going to be visiting Maui anytime, be sure to check out the MACC website before your trip to see who may be performing and so you can take advantage of some of the great performances or exhibits that may be here on Maui at the same time you are.
