Happy Aloha Friday! Summer is hitting a stride! The ocean never feels better than on these hot days beachside!

The 4th race of regatta season is sponsored by Wailea Canoe Club and takes off from Kahului Harbor tomorrow morning. Let’s see how the day goes. Hawaiian Canoe Club had a record-breaking point total last weekend. It’s great to be back in the water in Kahului Harbor. This is an all-day event. Have fun, stay safe 🙂

Kihei 4th Friday – Reopening Event

I’m so happy to hear and share with you that the town party events are back. Celebrate the Kihei 4th Friday reopening event tonight with emcee Kathy Collins and Dale Kapua and Friends on the main stage. With over 20 food truck vendors, local retail vendors, as well as a big keiki zone with face painting and balloon twisting, hula hoops, bubbles and quick science, there is sure to be something for everyone in the family!

Richard Marx returns to the MACC for a special solo concert. If you were around in the ’80s, chances are you had one of his songs on a mix tape. This will be an intimate acoustic performance of all your favorite hits.

Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar Festival – Maui Style

The 31st Annual Maui Style “Ki-hoʻalu Festival will feature some of Hawaii’s best slack key musicians. Some of the featured artists include: Ledward Kaapana, George Kuo, Kawika Kahiapo, Kailua Moon, Dwight Kanae, Stephen Inglis, Ola Hou with Kevin Brown, Kamuela Kahoano and others.

This was always a favorite of ours over the years. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy amazing music by some of our favorite musicians in Hawai’i.

Free admission! The Kī hō`alu Festival is sponsored by The Maui News, the County of Maui and Office of Economic Development, with additional support provided by the Hawai‘i Tourism Authority through the Community Enrichment Program, the Kī Hō`alu Foundation, Ka-Hoku Productions and KPOA.

Food and beverages from local Maui vendors will be available for purchase from 12:30 pm – 6:00 pm. See full menu HERE.

Enjoy gorgeous views, brunch favorites like banana mac nut pancakes and focaccia eggs Benedict at the Hula Grill in Kaanapali. Be sure and save room for the Hula pie, which is arguably the best on island.
