Pomaikai Elementary School in Kahului was recently recognized as a leader in public education in Hawaii, making its way into the top 5% of public schools. The recognition is part of the Department of Education “Strive HI” Accountability and Performance System for 2013-2014.
Pomaikai was 1 of 14 schools added to the Recognition Category, which is reserved for the highest performing schools. Pomaikai is an integrated Arts and Technology school serving the Wailuku and Kahului areas.
