Maui Banyan Condominium Complex Plans to Update Pool Areas

For all of us who know of the Maui Banyan condo complex in Kihei, I have good news for you. The home owners association has decided to start updating the pool areas.

Updating the Pool Areas

The pool deck that has been painted numerous times over the years will be replaced with a quartzite tile and new granite tops for the barbecues that will be added. The following picture is of the quartzite that has been picked out.

The bathrooms will also be refreshed and updated. Since Maui Banyan has two pools, there will not be an issue of no pool available during this updating. The current plan is to begin the lower pool just after Labor Day (September 3, 2012) and the upper pool will begin after completion of the first pool.

The plan is to complete the project before Thanksgiving 2012. This project is great news for current owners as well as anyone looking to buy at Maui Banyan. With its already great reputation, now it will be even better for owners and guests alike.

Maui Banyan: A South Maui Favorite

This complex is a larger complex with several buildings. It has a hotel or resort type feel to it with a front desk which is run by the Aston Resorts. Many owners will contract with Aston to manage their vacation rental, but no one is required to use the Aston services.

If you want to have your unit in a vacation rental program you may use any property management company you choose, or you can rent it out yourself (or even a combination of the two).

Conveniently Located

This is a complex that has long been a favorite of many people, myself included. Not only inhabited by vacationers, but there also are several owner occupants on site as well. It is in such a good location in central Kihei with just a short walk across the street to the popular Kamaole II Beach Park.

Kam II is so great for swimming and snorkeling, and sometimes the waves come in to the beach, so you can ride your boogie board. The beach park also has lifeguards for that extra level of comfort. The other great thing about this location is that not only is the beach in walking distance, you can also walk to nearby restaurants and shopping too.

I will blog again soon with updates. In the meantime, check out the active listings at the Maui Banyan and let me know if I can answer any of your questions.

Good to know. You may want purchase now before the complex is rehabbed.
