When I moved to the Big Island I really didn’t know anyone and had to find a way to meet people. I decided to take up playing tennis!

Kohala Coast Tennis Facilities
Tennis on the Big Island is fun, easily accessible, and available from 7AM to 9PM. There are so many amazing tennis facilities to choose from and even opportunities to purchase a home with your own private court. I live on the Kohala Coast and the tennis facilities available in my area include:
Kohala Coast Tennis – Court Time and Weather
When you join a club here, you get court time plus concierge service, which means they will set up a match at your level of play. I know on the mainland, court time is limited to an hour, or an hour and a half at the most. Here on the Big Island, you can play as long as it takes to finish your match or you are ready to call it a day.
The Kohala Coast is also known as “The Gold Coast” because it is almost always sunny, which makes for great tennis every day of the week. If tennis is your thing, or you think you might be interested in learning, give me a call and I can point you in the right direction!
