Keauhou Bay Mini Resort with Pool & Ocean Views

This house offers a beachfront feel without the wear and tear of the on-the-water environment. Do you enjoy stand up paddling/paddling canoes? Maybe you prefer standing and fishing off the pier for small Halalu or Oama? Some say Oama can be known as a Hawaiian French fry – (and close to world’s best might I add) when it’s fried crispy and dunked in a scrumptious dipping sauce!

On your stroll back to prepare your fresh catch, keep your eyes peeled, because growing nearby you can pick Akulikuli. It is a native Hawaiian ground covering plant that grows near the ocean. Many people pass by it not knowing it’s edible and very delicious too. You can eat the leaves as well as the pretty flowers; they are crunchy and salty, which pairs perfectly and decoratively with these small fresh fish fries! Ever heard of the saying: “If it grows together, it usually goes together”? Good example of one of the many things you can enjoy and share with all who visit you at this extraordinary home.

Heidi, I thoroughly enjoyed the walk-through of this beautiful, well thought out home or retreat! While it’s too much space for this 80 yr old single, I wish A friend would buy it so I could have guest enjoy their Hawaii visit in that great neighborhood which is where I take them when visiting!! loved it with all that ” space to be together”.
