Just Sold: Two Waikoloa Village Homes – Big Island

Waikoloa Village is known for its easy access to the beaches and convenient location near Waimea and Kona. Over the years, I have found that many worldwide and Islanders are attracted to this central location.

I’m pleased to have represented two buyers who purchased their forever homes in Waikoloa Village. Each client had a different reason why they, too, loved Waikoloa Village, and I wish them both many years of happiness and joy in their new homes.

Newly Built Homes

One of my clients’ requirements was to purchase a brand-new built home. Over the past eight months, I have been watching the market and keeping them informed every time a newly constructed home comes on the market. The client was selling their home of 15 years in California, so it was a bit of a dance to get the timing just right for both the sale of their home and a new home here on the Big Island.

The timing of this newly built home coming on the market could not have been more perfect for my client. This house even had that new home smell!

The buying process was different from buying an older home because we had to work extra hard to ensure the home’s warranties were available and transferable to the new owner. The warranties were a huge benefit and perk of buying a new home. Knowing you had protection for the roof, windows, appliances, and electronics of the house gave them lots of peace of mind.

Happy to say this wonderful family of four now resides in Waikoloa Village. They are making the Island their new home.

New Subdivision of Waikoloa Village – Kilohana Kai

The new subdivision in Waikoloa known as Kilohana Kai is the up-and-coming section of Waikoloa Village. You will see homes just being built, newly completed homes, and empty parcels waiting to be built. It’s fun to watch this new subdivision grow and see so many families in new homes.

My clients and I had been trying to purchase a home for four months. We had lost to being outbid in multiple homes. It’s hard to continue searching for that perfect home when you get defeated so many times. Part of my job is to help clients keep their hopes alive.

When we walked into this home and viewed the fantastic ocean view, they knew this was it. Amazingly we did not have a bidding war and went right into escrow. It was meant to be!! Plus, their family lives only a couple of doors down. It was more than they ever imagined. They are now enjoying this beautiful home and plan to put in a pool for the multi-generations to enjoy. Yay!
