After years and years of waiting the much anticipated new clubhouse at Hoakalei Country Club is now open. The crown jewel of the Ernie Els Hoakalei country club golf course is the newly built and opened clubhouse. This members-only destination is available to golf, social, and food and beverage members of the Ewa Beach Hoakalei communities. As you drive down the newly paved road, you pass the magnificent Hoakalei lagoons on your left and the private Wai Kai lagoons. The lagoons and Wai Kai are part of the HOA dues for a few of the Hoakalei communities, and members of Hoakalei at Kamakana can join on a six month or yearly basis for a fee.
Spectacular Hoakalei Clubhouse
The new clubhouse is spectacular. Ample covered parking and a beautiful tree-lined street is the backdrop to the new clubhouse. As you walk into the facility, you are greeted with unobstructed and expansive golf course views. The new club pro shop is filled with all things Hoakalei. From shirts and shoes to clubs and logo gear, the pro shop has something for everyone. This includes golfers or just some new Hoakaklei apparel to look the part.
New Shop & Restaurant
On the interior, you have the pro shop, full men’s and women’s locker rooms downstairs and the new leather-clad club chairs in the lounge and bar area. This includes the newly opened Reflections sit-down dinner restaurant. The restaurant will be open for dinner and lunch daily.
On the exterior, there are numerous lounge chairs, cabanas and sitting areas surrounding the infinity edge pool and hot tub. The outdoor pool bar has a small dining space and plenty of room at the stocked bar. While you look out at the golf course, you see an inviting putting green and driving range just down the road. Chairs and benches are set up all around for enjoying the beautiful scenery and golf course.
Golf, Social, and Food & Beverage Membership
As of now, the club is offering golf, social and food and beverage memberships for a fee. With this amazing new club and environment, I am sure the membership will sell out quickly as this is completely top notch in all ways.
The master-planned communities have a few more surprises including the new commercial component along the lagoons that are coming soon and eventually some new home sites. In the interim, the club is open and if you are lucky enough to call Hoakalei home, you are really in for a treat. This is an amazing community that now offers world-class amenities.
