Ground Floor Wailua Bay View Condo Under $500k with Unobstructed Ocean Views

It’s Saturday, a breezy 83 degrees Fahrenheit, and I’m pedaling a fixed-gear beach cruiser down the coastal Kapaa Bike Path. After a stop at Tege Tege Shave Ice (best shave ice ever!), we point our wheels towards quaint Old Kapaa Town and Wailua. Passing shops, restaurants, and Fuji Beach (aka Kapaa Baby Beach) bungalows, we reach idyllic tree-lined Papaloa Street and cruise by Wailua’s oceanfront condos.

A current favorite on quiet Papaloa Street (and my listing…amazing how those two things go together) is Wailua Bay View 113. Oceanfront and beachfront, Wailua Bay View 113 is the only unit available in the only complex on Wailua Bay.

This 1BD/1BA, ground-floor, coastal view unit allows for easy entry (no walking up 2-3 flights of stairs) and has an unobstructed ocean view facing Horner’s surf break. Watch surfers ride the waves and spot a humpback whale during the winter whale season. The swimming pool and BBQ area have been beautifully redone (read: does not have that “hole in the ground” condo pool feeling).

The 7-mile Kapaa Bike Path runs out in front of the complex and leads to Wailua’s “Restaurant Row.” Out back, it’s just a short beach stroll to the mouth of the Wailua River. A rare opportunity as these units infrequently come on market, Wailua Bay View is within minutes of shopping, dining, Lydgate Park, Wailua Golf Course, and Kauai adventures!

Wailua Bay View has one of the least expensive condo HOA fees on-island. Maintenance Fees include homeowner’s insurance, water, refuse pickup, wifi, basic cable, security, pool, and landscape care.

Interested?

Whoever buys this oceanfront condo likes breezy 83 degree Fahrenheit day partially spent cruising on the Kapaa Bike Path followed by a dip in the tropical pool before dinner eaten on the oceanfront lanai. Perhaps it’s you.

Your ad is 2 years old, so probably not available. We are not super motivated yet but want to know if it is possible to get something small (maybe 2 bedroom 2 bath) as close as we can to see and hear the beach. Our budget is $500K. Is that possible? Please let me know
