Once a somewhat hard to navigate rural community has blossomed into the place to live. It started with civil engineering and working on the expansion of the roads, walkways and highway exits. Now there are numerous expanded roads and various exits to the different communities and areas of Ewa Beach.
Thriving Community in Ewa Beach
Centered around the community is Queens West hospital which is always expanding, UH West Oahu campus, the new mall Kamakana Ali’i and just minutes from Ko Olina and central Oahu. The area has a great sense of community with numerous parks, walkways, food truck events, beaches, community centers, pools, and so much more. The new Ernie Els Hoakalei Country Clubhouse and the pool has just opened as well as new growth and stores as the new mall already expands into phase two.
The next site to grow is the Wai Kai Lagoon area. This is now set for phase one, which is commercial building. After that is completed the developer plans on adding residential which is rumored to be single-family, townhouses and possibly a vertical condo building all adjacent to the ocean and beaches. The roads are in, the utilities are on, and concrete is starting in a matter of weeks. There is a lot of money, effort, and expansion all focused on the area, so that translates into lots of resources being spent in this community. Which to me interprets into others seeing a tremendous value with everyone betting big on Ewa Beach.
If you want to get into this community, now is the time. The interest rates are low, and inventory continues to ebb and flow. So there is no better time then now, especially if you are renting and building equity for others.
