Coronavirus: A New Era of Emerging Lifestyle Changes

Most of us have been isolated in our own homes for quite some time now due to Coronavirus, which has really forced a period of time to slow down and reflect. We will eventually emerge from this unprecedented crisis, albeit slowly. The question is, how will we emerge? Whether we return to our old ways of living or whether we see this crisis as an opportunity for us to change towards a better, healthier lifestyle.

New Era After Coronavirus

Dave Futch, Realtor for Hawai’i Life, has over 26+ years experience in the real estate industry on Maui. During this Coronavirus period, he noted that he is seeing an increase in interest from people who have spent time during this lockdown period contemplating their own lives, homes and their lifestyles, and that where they are currently living is not where they truly want to live.

The Coronavirus situation is presenting an opportunity to finally make that decision to change towards a better and healthier lifestyle for them and their families. Brandon and his family, from Michigan, is just one of those many people.

“My wife and I came to Maui for our honeymoon two years ago and fell in love. Honestly, we considered moving to Maui in 20 years time, for retirement, but with all the chaos in the world today why not explore options now and maybe make it a reality for our lives together? Not just a retirement place.” said Brandon.

“The idea of living on Maui, Hawaii, is a fantasy for most” said Dave Futch.

“But, if you map out the move to Hawai’i and actually accomplish it, I find that most people, and their families, are ever so much more grateful and healthier. The community is nurturing and supportive as thoughtful and creative people are attracted here, plus the climate and natural beauty is second to none.”

“Just like Brandon, for anyone else at home that has also been contemplating a lifestyle change towards a better and healthier lifestyle, we can certainly work together to work out a plan of what your ideal home and lifestyle in Maui looks like, to accomplish that change together.” Dave continued.

“Now is a really good time to start to plan a move during the lockdown period, as it can take a while to gather your financial information and overall needs. I’d recommend starting a vision and plan by asking yourself the questions below.” he added.
