Construction Has Begun at Ilima at Kehalani

Construction has finally begun on the model homes at Ilima in Kehalani in Wailuku, Maui. This subdivision will be built by Towne Island Homes and will consist of 49 single family homes adjacent to the newly constructed Kamani at Kehalani.

Kehalani

Kehalani is a master-planned community in Wailuku, Maui, with parks, ample sidewalks, and pedestrian/bike paths. The lushly landscaped environment fosters outdoor activity as proven by the many exercise enthusiasts and is a great way to connect with your neighbors. A large community park with ample parking and restrooms is located across the street from Ilima. Already this open green space has become popular with residents for dogs, sports and kite flying. Multiple amenities such as Foodland, Long’s Drugs, McDonald’s, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, and a gas station are all conveniently located nearby.

Location

Ilima will be located in the parcel between the duplexes of Kamani and the condos of Ho’olea Terraces. Being on the foothills of the west Maui mountains provides elevation and possible ocean views. The above drone footage was taken with the mountains at our back while heading towards the ocean (makai).

Floor Plans

At first, Ilima was scheduled to consist of eight floor plans, but has since been changed to seven. Four of the floor plans will be one story and the remaining three will be two stories. Currently, one of the model homes is being built into the hillside as Towne has previously done with some floor plans in Akolea at Kehalani. The floor plans have yet to be released but with this many options in a small subdivision, Ilima should have a unique feel with a variety of home facades.

Initially scheduled to be released summer/fall of 2018, delays have pushed this date to winter 2018/2019.

Please contact me if you have any questions or would like to be on the interest list. I look forward to hearing from you.
