2012 Autumn Specials Through Hawaii Life Vacation Rentals

Autumn in Hawaii is one of those seasons where things slow down, the busy summer crowds disperse and there’s just a little more room to breath around these beaches and valleys. Since we don’t see much foliage around here we rely on the little things like having a stretch of beach to ourselves that remind us we’re in the off-season. Not that its ever too crowded on Kauai, autumn does seem to hold a certain tranquility to it, perhaps the calm before the storm of winter swells and holiday buzz. It’s an ideal time to visit such an idyllic place.

Amongst a series of Hawaii Life Vacation Rentals that feature special rates this autumn season, we’re highlighting a few properties on the North Shore of Kauai. Though we can’t reveal all of the specifics in this blog (because that would take all of the fun out of it), these properties along with several others will feature special rates for occupancy from the time period staring September 10th though December 15th.

So if anyone is looking for that final reason to reward themselves or their family with some quality time in the Islands, here are a few reasons to choose from:

King Hale in Haena

About as beachside as one can get without being inside of a tent, King Hale in Haena is fit for a family, or perhaps a couple wanting some well-deserved space. Though Hanalei’s restaurants and boutiques are just a few minutes down the road by car, everything feels far far away when in Haena, the “island within the island.”

Nestled between Haena's peaks and the big Pacific Ocean, King Hale reigns supreme

Uber chic furnishings make for any downtime that much more comfortable

Fit for a feast, the kitchen begs for a chef to work some culinary magic — or perhaps just some scrambled eggs in style

If one is considering hitting the snooze button, here's a strong argument against

Lihi Kai in Haena

Another Haena haven, Lihi Kai boasts a bottomless cup of beachside bliss, with snorkeling, surf and miles of sand just a few steps away.

Yes, that's a private path leading to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world

You'd be amazed how pleasant it is to watch the sea lap into the sand

Fresh Hawaiiana furnishings assure the tropical vibe is felt in every corner

Bright colors inside, bright colors outside…

Orchid Point In Princeville

With quietude guaranteed, this perch up in Princeville offers spectacular views of whales as they show up in early November, and the ease of traveling east to Anini and Kilauea or west to Hanalei and Haeana.

Looking east that's Anini reef, Secrets Beach, the Kilauea Lighthouse, Mexico…

Sitting cliffside with 180 degrees of the Pacific Ocean to drink in

Who needs the TV on when that's what is outside your door?

Hale Nalu Surf Cottage In Hanalei

If it isn’t self-evident from the photos, this charming cottage located beachside in Hanalei is in the heart of the heart of the North Shore. Walk the 3 miles of crescent-shaped beach, paddle out to surf from your door essentially, or take a bike ride to one of Hanalei’s many boutiques or tasty restaurants.

Redefining 'vacation', one day at a time…

The vaulted ceilings, sliding glass doors and airy feel offer a seamless transition from outside to inside

Whether for one, two or many, a quaint meal surely awaits

The stylish furnishings blend a fresh pop with a traditional look

Please note, special rates vary depending on size of party and only apply to certain rentals from September 10th through December 15th.

We hope to see you soon!

Aloha,
Kahea
