Whole Foods Market is Coming to Ward Village in Kakaako – Honolulu, HI

The opening day of the much anticipated Whole Foods Market in Kakaako is just around the corner (Scheduled date is May 9th, 2018).  The centrally located Whole Foods store will not only be the largest on Oahu, but will be part of the amazing Ward Village master planned community. Two other current locations include a store in Kailua, and the Kahala store in Honolulu. Whole Foods specializes in natural, organic foods and sustainable agriculture. Markets provide a wide range of products ranging from fresh fruit and vegetables, packaged items, and meat, to ready-to-eat deli items. Whole Foods offers a one-stop shopping experience that many have grown to love here in Honolulu and all across the US.

The new Whole Foods store in Kakaako is located in the new AE’O condo building that is scheduled to be completed mid-2018. The completion of AE’O will follow a few months later.

The population around the new Whole Foods is rapidly growing. Honolulu and international buyers are drawn to the urban core of the city that offers world-class shopping at the Ala Moana Center, easy access to an assortment of restaurants, and easy beach access at Ala Moana Beach Park. Ward Village is experiencing spectacular success with the new condo towers that currently include the Waiea, Anaha, soon to be completed AE’O, and pre-sales of Gateway Towers and ‘A’ali’i. All 5 of these condo buildings will be within a block of the new Whole Foods in Kakaako.

Typically located in the suburbs, the big brands are recognizing the trend, and have moved into the urban core as well.
