What Does SRES in Real Estate Designations Mean?

SRES stands for Senior Real Estate Specialist.

How Does a Realtor Becomes SRES Designated?

Like any real estate designation, there is a detailed course required. Once the course is completed, there is an exam you must pass. Throughout this course, a realtor will gain the knowledge to better serve senior clients and their real estate needs. The course is based on real and up to date statistics and surveys by the National Association Realtors.

Why Should I Use an SRES?

The demands are different for each buyer or seller and especially with each age group. When working with someone 50 years or older, there will usually be a quite different set off needs and wants than a first-time home buyer or newlyweds that are looking to grow their family. Senior clients will most likely be taking an upcoming retirement or downsizing into consideration for their real estate needs. Senior Real Estate Specialists have the knowledge and experience to help those seniors at whatever stage they may be in.
