Big Island’s Waimea (Kamuela) Home Sales For March (2012) Slow Down

March was a slower month for Waimea (Kamuela) home sales with a total of 7 sales for the month. Prices had a moderate range in sales prices from a low of $139,699 to a high of $539,000. This compares to February sales of 10 homes at an average sales price of $322,900.

Here is a look at all the home sales in Waimea in March:

The number of distressed sales – REO’s and short sales – was four out of seven, up from last month’s 40%. As has been the trend for several months now, the most popular subdivision was Lualai, where buyers can choose from either new construction or resale homes.
