Waikoloa Village Condo Sales Slow Down In August

After several months of strong sales numbers, Waikoloa Village condo sales slowed down in August. Total sales for the month were only two units – one in Elima Lani and one in Paniolo Club.

Elima Lani is popular with buyers this year having a total of 7 sales this year out of a total of 26 for Waikoloa Village

The Elima Lani sale was for unit #703, a ground floor unit with golf course frontage. This unit sold at $125,000 with a days on market of 0 days – looks like someone was just waiting for this one! This was a cash deal.

The other sale was also a 0 days on market, cash deal for Paniolo Club #111. Listed at $199,000 this condo closed at $170,000.

At this time there are now only 5 in escrow and no new condos went into escrow in August. There are still 43 condos for sale in Waikoloa Village so there is a large selection for buyers. Prices range from just under $100,000 to $635,000. We’ll have to see in the next few months where this slight pause in the Waiklolao condo market leads.

Pat, You definitely know the Waikoloa Village market by heart! Great blog and I look forward to “our” September market update. Until then… keep selling! Aloha, Catherine
