Condo sales in Waikoloa Village were up slightly in December with 3 condo sales closing out the year.
Buyers like Elima Lani for its pricing, floor plans, pool areas, and well maintained common areas
And, once again, Elima Lani was a popular choice for buyers bringing in two of the three sales. The other sale was a unit in Waikoloa Hills, which has seen some recent activity in step with some fairly steep price drops from previous sales levels.
Here’s a look at the three sales for December:
- Elima Lani #1106 Sold at $106,000 on market 22 days REO
- Elima Lani # 1306 Sold at $125,000 on market 36 days
- Waikoloa Hills #503 Sold at $142,000 on market 56 days
This leaves us with 16 condos still in escrow, so at some point we should see an increase in monthly sales numbers. There are currently 40 condos on the market in Waikoloa Village. I’ll be back next week with a look at the overall condo sales for Waikoloa Village for 2010.

Yes, the hills are wonderful to live in. The hills of Waikoloa give the town some great views of the ocean and cool it down a bit from the heat at sea level.
I now live in the green hills of Waimea on the Big Island, known as Paniolo country.
We have a large cattle ranch here and have a western feel to
this town along with a Hawaiian feel. If you ever visit the Big Island you should visit Waimea.
