Waikoloa Beach Resort Developments – Kohala Coast Big Island of Hawaii

I am going to cover the most popular units, which are, Fairway Villas, Halii Kai, Kolea Waikoloa, Naupaka Kai Place, The Shores at Waikoloa, Vista Waikoloa, Waikoloa Beach Villas, and Waikoloa Colony Villas.

This first article will cover Waikoloa Colony Villas, Hali Kai, and Fairways at Waikoloa Beach.

Waikoloa Colony Villas

Located along the 10th fairway of the Beach Course, the Waikoloa Colony Villas community feels like its own private golf resort while at the same time enjoying all of the nearby shopping, restaurants, activities, and beaches located inside the Waikoloa Resort area. This quiet gated community has a selection of very private two and three bedroom two-story townhomes with lush landscaping, convenient features, and generous amenities.

With only 112 spacious residences on this secluded property and no one living above or below, the Colony Villas offer a high degree of peaceful privacy in a breathtaking tropical setting. Of the three floor plans, the 3 bedroom / 3.5 bath B model offers the most expansive layout with nearly 1700 square feet interior living space and another 191 square feet split between the covered ground floor patio and the second floor lanai. Each townhome has its own attached garage.

Lush foliage surrounds each unit and natural light streams in through the oversized picture windows, while volcano views greet you at every turn on the second level. Even the smallest unit, the 2 bedroom / 2 bath 1226 square foot model C affords plenty of privacy, with a ground floor bedroom and bath, beautiful open plan great room and covered lanai off the upstairs master suite.

If you want to gather the whole clan, the clubhouse located adjacent to one of the two large waterfall fed pools, has a party deck, kitchen and lounge. Halii Kai

This private gated oceanfront community stretches along the lush fairways carved out of the lava of the Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed golf course to the crashing surf of the Pacific Ocean. There are three distinctly Kohala floor plans and a wealth of amenities and views available to satisfy every need.

The garden level junior 2 bedroom / 2 bath units, named Mahana or warmth, include a surprisingly spacious 1082 square feet of interior living space and a 122 square foot open patio. The outdoor patio opens off the luxurious great room with its gourmet kitchen, dining area and living room creating the kind of indoor/outdoor living space synonymous with the Kohala Coast lifestyle.

Many of the spacious lanais of the second level 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom Hooulu models along the golf course enjoy impressive ocean views as do the two story 3 bedroom / 3 bath penthouses with 1677 square feet of interior living space. Fairway Villas at Waikoloa Beach Resort

Like an island in an emerald sea of rolling greens and big mouth sand traps, the Fairway Villas is a paradise for golfers of every stripe and just people who enjoy living in the middle of a manicured playground. Completed in 2002 and conveniently located near the Queen’s Marketplace, King’s Shops and a short walk from the beautiful beach fronting Anaehoomalu or “A” Bay, the Fairway Villas offer modern convenience mixed with laid back Hawaiian style charm.

Several different 2 and 3 bedroom floor plans are available to satisfy a variety of needs. Units range from the 1085 square foot 2 bedroom / 2 bath golf villas with an additional 195 square feet dedicated to the covered lanai and outdoor storage area to the large 3 bedroom lakefront villas. The 2-story lakefront villas have nearly 1700 square feet of interior space plus an additional 400 square feet of outside living space including the covered dining patio and covered lanai off the master suite.
