4th Annual Waikoloa Village Back-to-School Bash – Saturday, July 30th

Where did the summer go? School is just around the corner. Time for the kids from Waikoloa Village and other neighborhoods, such as Waimea or Puako on the Kohala Coast, to get ready for school again!

The new school year at Waikoloa Elementary and Middle School is scheduled to start on August 1st, but the real starter is the Annual Waikoloa PTSA Back-to-School Bash. It will be held on Saturday, July 30th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Parents, teachers, school admin, and neighbors, please come and help us celebrate the 4th Annual Waikoloa PTSA Back-to-School Bash. As the Waikoloa Village community continues to grow, the school expands too. The Waikoloa School campus is growing and we trust that you can help with this great event. It is not for me, or for you, but for the next Big Island generation.

The new school year at Waikoloa will start with a large variety of food and fun activities such as rock climbing, face painting, games, and party bouncers. The admission is free, however, script will be sold for the activities.

It also will be an opportunity for the students to view their class assignments and for parents to refill lunch accounts, or fill out bus applications. We count on you! All proceeds will benefit the Waikoloa PTSA and all the school’s needs. Let’s not forget that just a few years ago Waikoloa Village was only offering an elementary school; today, it also has a middle school. What about tomorrow?

More family-friendly cultural activities in my neck of the woods. I will be there. Will you?

Catherine; Maybe with the new Aina Lea development so close to Waikoloa there will be a new high school soon…? How great would that be.
