Waikoloa’s latest listing (MLS# 257409) has golf course, ocean and sunset views
August condo sales in Waikoloa were very weak with just 3 sales for the month and an average sales price back in the low $100,000’s. This was after a hot month of sales in July that averaged just over $200,000.

Short Sales and Foreclosures Big Part of Waikoloa Sales
For many months now, Waikoloa has had a large number of sales in the foreclosure category. August again followed this trend with 2 of the 3 sales being short sales. August was also a slow month for condos going into escrow with just two units finding buyers.
Short sales ruled here also as both of these escrows were for short sales. Short sales will continue to dominate the next few months of sales – with eight out of eleven condos in escrow being short sales.
