To put this in perspective, there is a new listing at Waiki’i (MLS# 248112) that is another large home with 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms for a total of 5,403 sq. ft. of living space on 10 acres. But, its price per square foot comes out to be $407. The smallest home listed in Waiki’i (MLS# 240386) is 2,117 sq. ft. and comes in at a slightly higher price of $468 per square foot.
This is a 7,004 sq. ft. estate on 53 acres (MLS# 230699) that includes a cedar log home, cottage, arena, and stable
Finally, compare this cost per square foot with a home (MLS# 230699) that really can’t be compared with any other home. But, just for fun, at a listing price of $12,895,000, the price per square foot comes out to a price per square foot of $1,841.
Hmm, $150 a square foot looks like the deal of the year in Waiki’i Ranch, and unless another home goes into escrow soon, it could be the only sale of the year.

Wow, thanks for the update on Waiki’i Ranch Pat. I love the open space and slower pace found in Waiki’i. nice to see the market starting to move there. What a deal on the estate on large acreage!

Waiki’i is a very magical place and one of a kind here on the island. There are some great homes and lots for sale up there now at a wide range of prices. Aloha.
