Waiehu Heights Still Affordable?

Waiehu Heights is great neighborhood in Wailuku, centrally located near the hospital, shopping, and the airport is only 10 minutes away.  It is home to hard working people, some of whom have been there since the beginning in the Late 70’s when it was first being built.  It has an outstanding climate being directly up the hill from the ocean.

Something else that comes from being up the hill is amazing ocean views

Along with great mountain views too.

There is a 18 hole municipal golf course in Waiehu that is right on the water.  It over looks Waihee reef and goes along the beach for a couple of holes.

You can see the how the cart path bends around the mountain on this hole.

There are sandy beaches where you can go surf, swim, or just hang out right at the bottom of the hill

The homes in the area are mostly in $550,000 range, however there is a large home that needs some serious love and attention listed at $466,000.  It has an awesome view, with 2,600 SqFt of living space.  It won’t be around long.

I recently sold the home two doors down for $685,000. Granted, this home was in much better shape with a pool, and an ohana.  That being said, if you are fixer upper this home could be a home run for you.

If Waiehu Heights sounds like a place you would like to call home please reach out to me.  Let’s make your dream of owning by the ocean on Maui come true.
