Volunteers Needed for Adopt-A-Highway Cleanup – Sunday, November 20, 2022

Here is an opportunity that you won’t get to experience every day! The Hui Nalu Kaiwi Coast Run/Walk gives the community a unique freedom of traveling alongside the coastline with the best view (in my opinion) in the world. We are looking for volunteers to help clean the highway during the event on Sunday, November 20, 2022. We meet at Koko Head Elementary School parking lot at 5:45 a.m., where you will pick up your vest, garbage bags, and gloves. Once we are all prepped, you will be dropped off at your designated or desired area to clean. Each group generally cleans around a 1/4 to 1/2 mile stretch. After you are pau — you can enjoy the rest of the walk back to Maunalua Bay at your own pace.

Anyone can volunteer! Volunteers do not need to work with Hawaii Life. We need as many volunteers/helpers as we can. We would be very thankful if you shared this post on your own social media and/or forward it to your family and friends. It is truly a special and distinctively rare opportunity, come by and help out!

Please join us by volunteering for Adopt-A-Highway and help our community, our ocean and environment!
