Vintage 1920s Home in Old Sand Hills Wailuku

Are you like me and when someone says, “Old Sand Hills,” a little tingle wafts up your spine? As a true lover of vintage homes, I am in awe of the tres chic and timeless architecture of 260 Nanliloa Drive.

Built in 1925 (on a river rock foundation no less) I can only imagine who lived here? If those proverbial walls could talk, just what was life like back then in the Territory of Hawaii?

Old Sand Hills was the address to have then, and it still remains now. Large lots, Hollywood Hills type homes—you know the kind you drive by on a lazy Sunday afternoon.

This home has been lovingly restored. Vertical grain fir floors throughout, updated electrical with photo voltaic panels installed, those yummy 9 ft. ceilings, glass door knobs, living niches perfect for office use, and ocean views to the harbor. The garage (equipped with full bath) was turned into overflow space for when guests come to visit.
To top it off, there are no monthly association dues or CC&R’s. Listed for sale at $825,000.
