The Villages at the Mauna Lani Resort are high on quality, but short on condos for sale. Having experienced a recent flurry of activity/sales (8 sales in 3 months with 2 more pending), many buyers who were sitting on the sidelines waiting for further price drops are shocked!
I’m not here to shout the “I told you so,” but am going to encourage anyone that is a Villages buyer to take a look at the newly released Lehua floor plan (MLS# 242842). This beautiful home has upgrades throughout, including quartzite stone floors in great room and dining area, wired sound system, cherry paneled appliances, wall paper, ceiling treatments, outdoor kitchen, and jetted tub in the master bathroom.
The home offers a private garden setting at the lower level with beautiful Mauna Lani, Mauna Kea, and Hualalai views from the upstairs master lanai, and is furnished with high-end quality throughout included at the price of $795,000.
Compared to the only other Lehua available, which is bank owned and is directly adjacent to the Shops at Mauna Lani (and has a view and soothing sound (?!) from the master suite of the air conditioners of the grocery store), this Leahua won’t last long at all!
There is, by the way, still a Maile floor plan listed as a short sale priced at $885,000 (MLS# 225701) that I am most familiar with having written an offer recently for a client who ultimately purchased another Villages unit. I am happy to share my knowledge on this one to the right and patient buyer.
