1. Laulima

The Laulima community is located just minutes away from Sandy Beach. Some of these homes even have a view of Sandy Beach. The 106 homes built in the area were developed in a cluster-style community. This means there are clusters of 3 to 8 homes “clustered” together and may share a driveway. 2. Queen’s Gate

Queen’s Gate is located across the Laulima neighborhood. It is one of the few gated communities in Hawaii Kai. Queen’s Gate is the largest of these golf course neighborhoods with 120 single-family homes. Koko Villas is one of the newer developments in Hawaii Kai, built in 2005. Uniquely located near the base of Koko Crater and the entrance of the Koko Crater Botanical Garden. Koko Villas consists of 70 single-family homes. The homes range from about 1,900 interior square feet to homes with almost 3,200 living square footage.
