Three Level Home in Downtown Oceanfront Community of Kona

Kailua-Kona is known for many things such as world class fishing in crystal blue waters, delicious Kona coffee, events like the Ironman World Championship Triathlon, weather that’s perfect for plunging into the ocean any day of the year and all around healthy living. If you want to get in on all the action, this home located in Kona Bay Estates gets you full access to all of the fun!

You’re In All The Action!

Kona Bay Estates is a gated, oceanfront community with 24-hour security in downtown Kona. Just outside the gate from this community are shops and restaurants. You’ll also find a community park where you can catch a local baseball or soccer game. You’re in all the action! Within the gates, but just outside the front door of the homes here are the well known sandy tidepools known as Baby Ponds. Take a dip in the ocean water while being protected from the open ocean or take a walk along the coastline and catch a glimpse of dolphins that call neighboring Kailua bay home.

Built in 2002, this home provides a fun place to spend time with family and friends. Or, if you can’t use the home yourself, this home does come with an approved Short Term Vacation Rental permit that is transferable to the new owner allowing you to make income while you are away and make memories while you are here.

Featuring three levels, there is plenty of space to spread out so everyone has their own little sanctuary within the home. When it’s time to spend time together some of your in-home options include dining together in the large dining room or taking over the lower level where you’ll find a pool and grassy lawn to take in the sunshine. If you’d like to stay shaded the lower level includes a shaded pool table and has more than enough space to enjoy a meal or relax in the separate seating area while still being a part of the action.

Upstairs you’ll find a spacious kitchen with all the necessities. Just off the kitchen is a charming, screened in lanai that is the perfect place to take the morning in and enjoy a morning cup of Kona coffee while listening to the birds and the waves crashing along the coastline.

Spaces That Spoil You

Your family or guests will get comfy in their private bedrooms, but the extra large master suite will spoil you being large enough to comfortably include a spacious sitting area and king size bed. The master bath doesn’t disappoint either with bird’s eye views of the ocean, a large walk-in shower, soaking tub, double vanities, and a closet large enough to be another room.

Ok, you love the house, love the location, but with a gated community that offers 24-hour security, there must be Homeowner Association fees, right? While that is true for most of the other homes in this community, this house has a special exemption and does not pay HOA fees. Interested in knowing more? I’d love to hear from you!
