The Vintage at Kaanapali Golf Estates

Aloha and Welcome to The Vintage at Ka’anapali—a gated luxury town home community located on the slopes of Mauna Kahalawai overlooking the Ka’anapali Resort in a quiet enclave directly adjacent to Ka’anapali Golf Estates. The Vintage at Ka’anapali is a couple minutes walk or golf cart ride to Ka’anapali Beach, the Kai and Royal Course at the Ka’anapali Golf Course, and excellent restaurants and shopping at Whaler’s Village.

The cluster of homes surrounded by the golf course is the Vintage at Ka’anapali. The neighborhood is situated on almost 17 total acres, there are 73 total detached units—each unit sits on an approximately 10,110 sq. ft. lot and many of them front the Ka’ananapali Kai Golf Course.

Here is the breakdown of The Vintage at Kaanapali:

  • 23 total units that are 3 bed/2 bath and 1,799 square feet of living area
  • 22 total units that are 3 bed/2 bath and 2,002 square feet of living area
  • 15 total units that are 3 bed/2.5 bath and 2,170-2,184 sq.ft. of living area
  • 13 total units that are 3 bed/3 bath and 2,330 square feet of living area

The residences are inspired by plantation-style living—there are open floor plans where homes feature spacious lanais, which face the ocean to take advantage of spectacular views and gentle breezes.

The interiors feature luxurious details like tile entries, custom hardwood flooring (some homes), Berber carpeting, marble bathrooms, designer appliances, granite counter tops, and central air conditioning. Outside, enclosed two-car garages, cedar siding accents, and monier tile roofs create a modern take on plantation styling.

Maintenance fees are $835 per month for all units, plus an additional quarterly fee of $495 paid to the Ka’anapali Golf Estates association.

Compelling reasons to consider ownership at The Vintage at Ka’anapali:

  1. Location, Location, Location!
  2. Maintenance free home ownership—perfect residences as second homes
  3. Relatively inexpensive compared to the Ka’anapali residential market
  4. Newer construction—completed in 2002
  5. Gated entry and community clubhouse
  6. Pet Friendly
  7. There are no vacation rentals permitted in this complex=stable community and more peaceful living atmosphere

The units at the Vintage were completed in 2002—there are both single-story and two-story models, all of the two-story models back up to the Pinnacle (the homes at the bottom of the photo and the next row of homes fronting the golf course) at Kaanapali Golf Estates, so that the views from the single-story units are best protected.

This first video is taken from the north end of the complex right below unit #171 on the below map. The units on this side of the complex are going to get stronger trade wind conditions, have views of Molokai, and experience sunsets during the first half of the year.

This video is taken from the south end of the complex near unit #136. These units will have excellent views of Molokai, experience the sunsets in the second half of the year, and are more protected from the trade winds.

The clubhouse at The Vintage features a pool, jacuzzi, outdoor BBQ area, outdoor kitchen, and small exercise room and is open to all residents and guests, and is well landscaped to give it a natural and private experience.

The front line units at the Vintage abut the 11th hole at the Kaanaapali Kai golf course—these units along with two-story units that sit toward the back of the complex are the only ones that get views of both Molokai, Lanai, and experience year-round sunsets.

Recent sales in The Vintage at Ka’anapali have ranged from just under $800,000 to $1,060,000. Here are all the sold comps since the beginning of 2010.

Hi Jeremy,
Do they allow long term rentals at the Vintage?
If so, what is the minimum term and approximate monthly rent?
Thanks,
Fred

Aloha Fred,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you on this. They do allow long term rentals at the Vintage, I do believe that the minimum is likely 6 months. I would think that the market rent for a Vintage unit would currently start at about $4,000 per month and would probably go up to about $5,500 for the nicest units. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to help you. Aloha.
