If you’re looking for a vacation rentable condominium to purchase, you really should consider some communities in North Kihei. North Kihei tends to be much quieter than Central and South Kihei. The Neighborhood
North Kihei is known for Sugar Beach, a six mile long white sand beach that is perfect for walking, stand up paddling, outrigger canoeing, and so much more. After your time at the beach, you can head to Ululani’s Shave Ice or pick up something for breakfast at Sugar Beach Bakeshop.

If you enjoy water sports, you may want to consider becoming a member of the Kihei Canoe Club, located in North Kihei. This club offers both racing and recreational Outrigger Canoeing.
Sugar Beach in North Kihei
There are several condominium complexes in North Kihei including Sugar Beach Resort, Kealia, and Maalaea Surf. The most popular (and the largest) is the Sugar Beach Resort, with just over 200 units in the complex. Sugar Beach Resort is a favorite amongst local owners and visitors alike. This oceanfront community offers a saline pool, BBQ areas, and is a quiet oasis away from the action in Central Kihei.
What I like most about the Sugar Beach Resort in North Kihei is that nearly every unit in the building has an ocean view. Of course, the closer you are, the better! I love leaving my lanai door open at night and listening to the sounds of the waves.

3. Unit 517 is a one bed, one bath unit on the fifth floor, and at the time of this post, it’s the only ocean front unit on the market in the Sugar Beach Resort. This unit is priced at $525,000 FS.
