Stay Encouraged & Connected During These Unprecedented Times | Oahu, Hawaii
Aloha family, we are living in unprecedented times. There is a lot of fear and uncertainty about the future. At least in the near term. The economy is taking a hit, businesses are closing, and many employees are wondering if they can keep their jobs or pay their bills. With all these changes, we cannot live in fear. We must approach this storm with compassion and kindness.
We all have family and loved ones at risk. Now is the time to discover creative ways of coming together. We are blessed to live in an age with numerous technologies that allow us to stay connected remotely.
So pick up the phone and call a loved one or friend. Ask how they are doing, offer to help those who are in need. Use Skype, Facetime or Zoom to connect with the important people in your life.
Whatever we do, we cannot allow “social distancing” to become emotional isolation. We should practice patience, kindness, care, and love for one another. Each of us has a responsibility to encourage those we interact with.
So check in frequently with your friends and family. In the upcoming weeks and months, we will be focusing our energy on how we can help our community, by giving of ourselves, stepping up to help and encouraging those around us.
I challenge each of you to do the same. Who knows? We may look back at 2020 with thankfulness of how these events reshaped us as a society. This is Fawn Bertram with Homes by Fawn and Hawaii Life Real Estate. Stay safe and stay healthy.
