Pre-Travel Testing for Hawaii Visitors
For Hawaii visitors, it’s important to know that a mandatory quarantine for all trans-Pacific travelers remains in effect. As an alternative, a Pre-Travel Testing option launched on October 15, 2020. Visitors opting for pre-travel testing must produce evidence of a negative COVID-19 test result. The test must be taken at one of the State of Hawaii’s trusted travel partners within 72-hours of arrival in Hawaii.

Hawaii Real Estate Market Update
The Economist reported earlier this year on the U.S. housing market’s unexpected resilience in the face of the current health crisis—calling the real estate sector “strangely oblivious” to the economic downturn, relative to other sectors. Here in Hawaii, that’s definitely true.
In our recent Hawaii Luxury Market Report, we reveal that in the first three quarters of 2020, high-end residential sales in Hawaii have kept pace with 2019 and that October has been booming. By October, Hawaii Life continued to outpace the market, exceeding our company’s 2019 full-year sales with more than two months of real estate sales remaining in 2020.
