Aloha Tara,

Thank you for your blog about my hometown of Waikoloa Village.

When Buyers purchase a property in the area controlled by the Waikoloa Village Association (WVA) they agree to follow the community standards set forth by the Association. With the REO you mentioned in your blog the studio/kitchen/bath in the garage is a violation of the WVA community standard. Buyers will have to correct the condition causing the violation so their property will be in compliance with the community standards. Homeowners have to know the regulations and follow them!
