The Renaissance of Kahala Avenue

Kahala Avenue has been called Oahu’s most luxurious road and the scenic area has been undergoing a remarkable renaissance. Paciic Business News recently featured the street and its return to a style of architecture that better celebrates this beautiful location. Close to Waikiki and downtown, Kahala has earned its reputation as one of the most entrancing neighborhoods around.

As PBN noted, Hawaii Life is selling the remaining lots on Kahala Avenue that previously belonged to Japanese billionaire Genshiro Kawamoto. The lots are being sold off individually over time. A one-acre lot on Kahala Avenue that was previously one of Kawamoto’s estates is listed for $15.8 million. The 47,192 square foot estate lot runs from the street to the ocean with expansive 124 linear feet of ocean frontage.

Cleared and ready to build, it’s a blank canvas for a home that takes advantage of the stunning ocean and surf break views. With the legendary Kahala Hotel also slated for another major renovation, this is an area that will only continue to grow and thrive in the coming years.
