Puakea Bay Ranch Oceanfront Luxury Home with Maids Quarters – Going Big on the Big Island

When you live in Hawaii, you can give your property a big name…like Kanani o’ka Maluhia, which means beautiful peace by the way, and then you can just sit back and watch the whales from the pool setting and look out towards Maui in your 6,733 sq.ft. home (MLS# 249852) with its own maids quarters (in case you hate to clean). Don’t worry, the Koi ponds will give you something to do; you can feed the fish when you get bored…if that ever happens.

On the 4,000 sq. ft. lanai, there is sunshine galore, and don’t worry, no one is getting through to bother you. The Puakea Bay Ranch Subdivision has a gated entrance and 7 days a week security.

There is 1/40 interest for you in the oceanfront park, but this home is on ten acres anyway, so you can put a horse right on your lot and walk to the 20×12 tack room, which is already in place.

Remember, go big…think Kanani o’ka Maluhia.

Hi Diane, nice follow up to my market update on the Puakea ranches. I have a question: what makes a “maids quarters” a maids quarters? Do you think the seller really had a live-in maid? Is it like those little cubbyhole bedrooms behind the kitchen they sometimes have in big Manhattan apartments?

What is wrong with a maids room in the back? I wish I had a maid to offer her the amazing mini pad in my lux estate. I just read that comment. Who cares what the previous seller had? And I have one of those cubby holes in my manhattan apartment – it cost me a 50k to make it into a fabulous closet and pantry for the kitchen and we all love the extra room. So what exactly is wrong with a cubby hole in manhattan?
