Makaha Beach

Location

Makaha Valley is as rich in Hawaiian history and culture, as it is in beauty. Once a fully operational Ahupua’a and home to Kane’aki Heiau, the valley is sacred.

Makaha is home to legendary Makaha Beach known for its amazing surf. Other popular beach spots such at Yokohama and Pokai Bay are just a few minutes down the road. Well-known hiking trails such as the Wai’anae Pink Pillbox and Ka’ena Point are also just a few minutes away. Enjoy a round of golf right next door at Makaha Valley Country Club. The Leeward Coast is equipped with casual eateries and small-town grocery stores.

About 16 miles or 25 minutes away is the city of Kapolei where one will find a larger variety of dining, shopping, and entertainment options such as Ka Makana Ali’i Mall, Cheesecake Factory, California Pizza Kitchen, Costco, Target, Walmart, Home Depot, Foodland, Safeway, Down to Earth, movie theaters, Wet ‘n’ Wild waterpark, and so much more. Kapolei is also home to Ko Olina which hosts more golfing, lagoons for swimming, and resort accommodations such as Disney’s Aulani, the Four Seasons, and the Marriott Beach Club.

If quiet seclusion, outdoor recreation, sun & sand, and slowing down the pace are what you’re looking for, then Makaha may be the place to grant you the lifestyle you desire. Know that just about a 25-minute drive away you can easily pop into all the modern conveniences.

RE: Outside of House

Wow. Normally, I’m a “simpler is better” guy when it comes to painting and colors.

The fewer the colors, the easier to make “work.”

Some how, some way (gutters, trim, garage door, siding, roof, etc … EVERYTHING), this ALL came together and looks absolutely great.

Scrolled past pics of interior to get to comments … saw some cool stuff there, also.

Must. Go. Back.

And look.

Carry on.
