$1M Off Papali Wailea Pre-Foreclosure

Bargains have officially hit the Maui Luxury market!

Papali at Wailea unit #6 (MLS# 338095) is a pre-foreclosure listed at $2,250,000

  • 2008 Sales Price: $3,240,000
  • Current County Assessed Value: $2,941,000
  • Original Asking Price: $3,295,000
  • Current Asking Price: $2,250,000

Personally, I find the design elements of the 24 homes in Papali Wailea very interesting and unlike any other’s that I have seen here. They are somewhat  Bailenese style meets uber modern. They are single level energy efficient luxury homes that have very simple floor plans incorporating a fusion of top of the line building materials. The site plan of the complex follows the same trend of simplicity, elegance, and fluidity that the homes themselves posses.

An above-it-all feel.

Thanks to careful site planning (which protects the views from each home) and the property’s unique location on a gentle slope high above the sparkling blue waters below, the feeling truly is one of being able to see forever.

A common trend amongst all units is the presence of open space, large windows, and high open beam ceilings which enhance natural lighting and welcome the beautiful ocean and outer islands views.

Winner fo 2009 Builder’s Choice Merit Award

Recently, Papali Wailea was the winner of the 2009 Builder’s Choice Merit Award for design and planning.

“If you are going to design/develop this type of resort housing, this is the way to do it. Other builders would do well to study it.”

10 Best Places for a Second Home

Maui, receiving recognition once again from Barron’s…

“Consistently rated the “Best Island in the World” by travel experts, this Hawaiian beauty underwent a growth spurt during the past decade that some critics bemoaned as excessive. But the southern coast, anchored by the hamlet of Wailea, has weathered it all well. One of the first master-planned resort communities in the nation, it’s a balanced blend of understated gated communities, luxury resort hotels, three excellent golf courses, a tennis center and, of course, several crescent sandy beaches. Wailea has 500 single-family homes, and their views are stunning: lush, verdant hills, brilliantly blue ocean and, after the steamy sun showers, rainbows over the horizon.”

Convinced in calling Maui home? I am here to be of service in any way that I can. Aloha 🙂
