Pahoa Village Business District Celebrates the Holidays

Every year, the commercial district of Pahoa Village comes out to support the community and have some fun by hosting the annual Pahoa Holiday Parade. This year the theme was “Passport to Pahoa: Celebrating Our Diversity” and was Grand Marshaled by the Montessori Country School. The weather was bright and warm – as were the spirits of all who attended!

Community Support

I lived in Pahoa for seven years before moving to Hilo. I have to say that Pahoa has some of the most supportive business leaders on the Big Island.

First founded in 1992 to establish and maintain Pahoa Village as the social, cultural, and commercial center of lower Puna, the goals of MainStreet Pahoa Association are to enhance the economic vitality and quality of life of the community.

The Village of Pahoa has been growing by leaps and bounds over the course of the last decade, and local residents are now finding that they don’t have to drive to Hilo for services as much anymore. New businesses are welcome to thrive here!

Pahoa – A Vibrant Commercial Community

To join this vibrant commercial community, become its newest business owner by purchasing 15-2881 Pahoa Village Road, right on the parade route. Situated between a 7-11 and an independent coffee shop on one side, and a surf shop and chiropractic office on the other, you’re in a great position for foot traffic.
