What is Oktoberfest?

Oktoberfest is an annual event by the Rotary Club of North Hawaii as a fundraiser for grants and scholarships on the Big Island. As always, there will be many special treats to tempt you with German and Bavarian food. And, of course, there will be some beer also. Along with the food and drinks it is a ton of fun watching attendees dance the Chicken Dance. This year will also have a silent auction to benefit the Waimea Country School.

So, break out those lederhosen and start practicing your Chicken Dance!

I love the Big Island! Aloha.
