‘Sustainability’ has been such a buzz word when it comes to living here in Hawaii. There’s a home for sale in Kaneohe that sits on just over 2.5 acres with its own fishpond. How cool would it be to raise and farm fish?
This Kaneohe home (MLS# 1011432) includes its own fishpond…
We all hear about people wanting to ‘live off the land,’ farmer’s markets are popping up all over the place, and Whole Foods is now on the ground on Oahu and Maui buying from local farmers.
I know our own Tracy Stice on Maui is a big proponent of this sustainability concept as he has a fishpond of his own. It’s pretty rare to find one available for sale on Oahu. There aren’t too many of them around any more and they seldom become available for sale.
‘Chinaman’s Hat’ can been seen in the distance off to the right beyond the pond and blue ocean
Here’s a slideshow with more photos and information. If you’re interested in living your Hawaii life in Kaneohe, contact me about this property, or any others that spark your interest.
