Puako Beach real estate has recently added two exciting properties to the current offerings – one on each side of the street, mauka, and makai (toward the mountain and toward the ocean, respectively).
No…. Puako has not had an aquatic event such that this property is actually it’s own island within the community, but the King house at #120 Puako Beach Drive has been released to market asking $4.65M. Recently “spiffed” up with gorgeous redone hardwood floors (hardwood everywhere inside, spectacular) this oceanfront home has been a successful vacation rental in the past.
And, down the road across the street from Pani’au, #143 Puako Beach Drive has come to market asking $1,219,000. A tropical oasis, yet walking distance to the Fairmont Orchid and Mauna Lani resorts. Or jump into the water and onto your board just a few steps from the front door… the mauka side of Puako Beach offers the same wonderful community and outdoor lifestyle – at a fraction of the price.
Every morning when I wake up to the birds chirping, waves pounding and this time of year, whales slapping their tales, I feel blessed to call Puako Beach my home. I live and work here (lucky, our Hawaii Life office is next to the Puako General Store!). This is my ‘hood. Puako. It can be yours, too.
p.s. Did I mention I know of an oceanfront, 2 mauka properties, and one condo with sellers who want to sell, but aren’t on the market right now for various reasons. Contact me for more information. It’s never too late to live your best Hawaii Life!!

Wow, I should be getting barreled on that left. Do people surf there?

Justin – yes, indeed surfers hit Puako during the winter… however, this is reef surfing and it’s quite shallow, so it takes special polynesian know-how, like surfing Tahiti.
